Marie's 1st word!

Grandma Marie and Little Marie

We named our sweet Marie after this amazing woman, Troys Grandma Marie. She is a huge prayer warrior and has a love for the Lord that is so pure! We have been praying for our little Marie from birth that she would have some fruits from whom she was named after. We have been particularly praying that Marie would be a prayer warrior like Grandma.

Marie has been starting (finally) to jabber a bit and start making lots of noises. We had noticed when Troy would pray at the dinner table she would say something that sounded like "amen" every time we prayed. We laughed it off and did not think much about it. Last night during family worship it was time to pray. Wyatt prayed first and she said "amen", then bowie started to pray and she said "amen". Then Troy closed out with prayer and along followed Marie with a hearty "amen"!

We know that already the Lord is answering our prayers. Her first word is AMEN!! What an awesome God we serve!
